Header fields

Period

Current System Period (default), select a period to post to, dates in the grid must be within the date range for the selected period.

ID, Location, Bin Code

Fields show Batch ID, Location and Bin Code (read-only).

Vertical toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Edit details (F11)

Edit a movement batch.

Insert (F4)

Generate a new bin count.

While a bin count is in progress the bin is locked, transactions with tracking detail for the bin may not be posted.

Delete (F3)

Delete the bin count. Only available for saved, unposted batches, when the user has permission.

Print report (Ctrl+P)

Print an IC Bin Count report of the information in the grid.

Links (Alt+F6)

Opens Links On... for the record, with a list of links for the record. The button changes to indicate if links are present.

Memos (F6)

Memos and alarms can be entered or edited. The button changes to indicate if memos and alarms are present. Opens Memos On... with a list of Memos.

Delete Nil Lines (Alt+D)

Delete all nil quantity lines from the batch. A line is considered nil if the quantity is zero.

Add Missing Products

Adds products in the bin which have not been counted.

Customise Toolbar

Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.

Batch tab

Date

The date that adjustment transactions will be posted. Must be within the Period selected. Defaults to the System Date.

Store Person

The Store Person associated with the receipt batch. This defaults from the User's Default Store Person Code.

Details

Optional description for the bin movement batch header.

Store Person

The Store Person associated with the bin movement batch. This defaults from the User's Default Store Person Code.

Reference

Reference for the bin movement batch.

Comment

Comment for the bin movement batch.

Post Status

The status of the Bin Count. You can change between Counted and Uncounted using the button at the bottom of the form prior to posting. If the Bin Count has been posted, this will show Posted, and cannot be changed.

Print Status

Shows the batch print status (read-only). Print Status is set to Printed when a batch is printed.

IC Bin Count Grid

Product Code

The product counted.

UOM Code

(UOM Active Only)

The UOM Code from the Product. If the Product has more than one UOM Code, you can select the code to use.

Counted / UOM Counted

The quantity counted.
If UOM Active the Quantity Counted will be calculated as the UOM Quantity Counted * UOM Multiplier.

Unit

Product unit code.

Serial No

For Products which are Purchase Serial No tracked the Serial No counted.

Lot No

For Products which are Lot No tracked to Lot No counted.

Adjust

Selected, the default. Variances will be adjusted into or out of stock when posted.

Unselected, nil adjustments are posted for variances with quantities moved from/to the Unspecified bin.

Variance

The difference between the Counted quantity and the current In Stock quantity for the bin. The quantity that would be adjusted or moved to the Unspecified bin on post.

Grid Toolbar

Zoom (Ctrl+F12)

Zoom to form view to see the batch line details.

Insert (F4)

Insert a line in the grid.

Move up (Shift+Up)

Move down (Shift+Down)

Move the line up or down.

Delete (F3)

Removes the record from the grid.

Sort list (Ctrl+F2)

Sort ascending or descending on a field. Sort order is saved on Save.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Prompt for Delete Line On/ Off (Shift+F3)

Toggle on and off to specify whether to confirm deletes. The default state is set in Users, Groups and Roles - Preferences tab.

Bin quantities (Ctrl+Q)

Opens Bin Tracking Quantities showing quantities in the bin.

Tracking Panel

Show Tracking
Hide Tracking
(Ctrl+T)

Show or hide the tracking detail for the current line.

When the Count is set to Counted count lines collapse to a unique line per Product, Lot No and Serial No and any records not counted but currently In Stock in the bin are added. Tracking is generated where there are differences.

Buttons

Batch List (Alt+L)

Opens IC Bin Count List, you can view a list of all unposted batches.

Uncounted / Counted

Changes the Post Status of the bin count from Counted to Uncounted or from Uncounted to Counted. When a bin count is set as Counted, Variances are recorded. If you change a Counted bin count to Uncounted, variances are removed.

Missing Products are added to the count when it is set Counted. This may be done earlier using the Add Missing Products button.

Post (Alt+S)

Post adjustment transactions for the lines with variances.

Save (F9)

Save the batch. Blank lines at the end will be trimmed. You can re-open saved batches for further editing and/or posting from IC Bin Count List.

Cancel (Esc)

Close without saving.
