Accounts Payable Reports

Reports for the Accounts Payable (AP) module. AP reports appear under Reports › Accounts Payable in the navigator drawer. The reports listed there are supplied by the server for your installation, so the exact set depends on your licensed modules and permissions. All AP reports open in the shared Report Runner, where you choose selection criteria and run the report.

Note: Accounts Payable reports are only listed when the AP module is installed and you have permission to view AP reports. The exact set of reports and folders shown is supplied by the server, so what you see may differ from another user or another company.

Where AP Reports Appear

The navigator drawer has two views, selected with the toggle at the top: Main (the maintenance and document screens) and Reports. AP reports live in the Reports view.

Reports are organised by module. Module folders are listed alphabetically, so Accounts Payable appears near the top. Within the Accounts Payable folder, reports are grouped into sub-folders (sub‑categories) taken from the server metadata.

Depending on your company's setup, the Reports view may show two top-level branches:

Web Reports defined for the browser app, grouped by module and subcategory. This is where Accounts Payable and its subcategories appear.
Desktop Saved report layouts defined in the Accredo desktop client. These follow the same folder structure used in the desktop Navigator. The Desktop branch only appears when desktop layouts are available to you.

When only one kind of report is available, the Web/Desktop wrapper is not shown and the module folders appear directly under Reports.

How AP Reports Are Grouped

The grouping is driven entirely by the report metadata supplied by the server. Each report record carries a Module, a Category, and a Sub‑category, and reports are organised Module › Category › Sub‑category:

Module The module the report belongs to. AP reports are those whose module is Accounts Payable.
Category & Sub-category Used to organise reports within the module. Modules are listed alphabetically by label; categories and sub‑categories are listed alphabetically within each module, and the reports within a sub‑category are listed alphabetically by title. A report with no category is grouped under "Other"; a report with no sub‑category is grouped under "General".

Note: Because the categories and sub‑categories come from the server metadata for your installation, the exact category names and the reports within them can differ between sites. This page describes how AP reports are organised rather than naming a fixed set of reports.

Running an AP Report

Select a report from a subcategory folder to open it in the Report Runner. From there you set the selection criteria (for example a range of creditor codes, a period, or a currency), then run the report to view the results. You can also apply filters, change the sort order, adjust columns, and print or export the result.

Saving Your Own Layouts

Each subcategory folder includes an Add Layout... entry. Use it to save your own configured version of a report — with its selections, filters, sort order, and column choices remembered — so you can re-run it without setting it up again. Who Can See AP Reports

A report is listed only when both of these are true:

Module available The Accounts Payable module is installed in the company.
Permission Your user permission level meets or exceeds the level the report requires. Reports you do not have permission for are hidden from the tree.

In addition, reports for modules that have not yet been released in the browser app are filtered out of both the navigator and the Reports list. Accounts Payable is a released module, so its reports are available.
