Reports for the Invoicing System (IN) module appear under Reports → Invoicing System in the navigator. The reports available to you are supplied by the server, so the exact categories and report names depend on your installation and your access. This page explains how Invoicing System reports are organised and how to run them.
Open the navigator drawer and switch it from Main to Reports using the toggle at the top. The Reports section lists the modules you have access to. Expand Invoicing System to see its report subcategories.
Reports are grouped in two ways:
When both kinds are present, the Reports section shows a Desktop branch and a Web branch side by side. When only one kind is present, that branch is shown directly.
Web reports are grouped by Module, then by Category and Subcategory. The categories and subcategories — and the reports within them — come from the server's report definitions, not from the app. Because of this, this page does not list specific Invoicing System report names: what you see is whatever your system administrator has made available for the IN module.
Modules are listed alphabetically by name, and subcategories are listed alphabetically within each module.
A report only appears in the Invoicing System list when both of the following are true:
| Module available |
The Invoicing System module must be enabled in your installation. |
| Permission |
You must hold the permission level the report requires. Reports you do not have permission for are hidden from the list. |
The Reports section only surfaces modules that are part of the current release. Invoicing System is a released module, so its reports appear when the above conditions are met.
Every report — Web or Desktop — opens in the same Report Runner. Select a report from the list to open it, set your selection criteria, then run it to view the results. There is no separate page per report; the runner is data-driven from the report's definition.
For Web reports you can save a configured version of a report — its selections, filters, sort order, columns and options — as a named Layout. Saved layouts appear under their subcategory in the Reports list, alongside the Add Layout... link, so you can re-run a report with the same setup without reconfiguring it each time.
