Order Entry Reports

The Order Entry reports cover the orders and standing orders managed in the Order Entry module. They are reached from the Reports view of the navigator and run through the shared Report Runner.

Finding Order Entry Reports

Switch the navigator from Main to Reports using the toggle at the top of the drawer. Reports are organised into two branches:

Web

Layout reports that run in the browser. These are grouped by module, with Order Entry as one of the module groups. Within the module, reports are organised under their subcategories; expanding a subcategory shows any layouts you have saved for it (and an Add Layout option). Selecting a subcategory opens the full Reports list, where the individual reports for that subcategory are shown as cards.

Desktop

Server-defined report layouts saved in the desktop Accredo client. These are arranged into the same folder structure used by the desktop Navigator. Order Entry layouts appear under their corresponding folder. Use the refresh button on the Desktop branch to re-read the saved layouts from the server.

Note: The Web and Desktop branches only appear together when both kinds of report are available to you. If you have no saved desktop layouts, only the Web reports are shown; if you have no web layout reports, the Desktop branch is shown on its own.

Report Categories

The set of Order Entry reports available to you is defined by your installation's report metadata on the server, not fixed by the web app. Within the Order Entry module group, reports are grouped by subcategory, and the reports shown to you depend on whether the Order Entry module is enabled and on your permissions (see below).

On the full Reports list page — opened by selecting the Order Entry tab (or by clicking a module group or subcategory in the navigator) — the available reports are shown as cards, grouped under their subcategory headings. Each card represents one report you can run.

In the navigator drawer, expanding the Order Entry module group instead shows a tree of subcategory nodes. Each subcategory node's children are any layouts you have saved for it plus an Add Layout... entry; the base reports are not listed individually here. Selecting a subcategory opens the Reports list page filtered to that module and subcategory.

Tip: On the full Reports list you can search across all modules by report title, report code, or report name. While searching, results are shown as a flat list grouped by module rather than under the subcategory headings.

Availability and Permissions

Order Entry reports are only listed when the conditions below are met:

Module enabled

The Order Entry module must be enabled for your company. If Order Entry is not available, its reports do not appear.

Permission level

Each report has a required permission and level. A report is shown only when your permission level is at least the level the report requires. Reports whose required level is zero are shown to everyone.

Running a Report

Selecting a report opens it in the Report Runner, where you set the selection criteria, generate the results, and then sort, filter, lay out, and print or export them. All Order Entry reports use this same runner; there is no separate page per report.

Note: Saved layouts you add (Web) and the server-side layouts saved in the desktop client (Desktop) both run through the same Report Runner. They differ only in where the layout is stored.
