Settings apply when Use Single Sign on is Selected

Default User Preference Location

Select the location to save the preferences:

  • System - (default for new systems) preferences are saved to the system.
  • Registry - preferences are saved in the system registry. The System User will be prompted on each Login to load preferences from Registry and migrate to User Preferences. If they select Yes, the registry entries will be removed.

Note: If you switch from System to Registry, the changes will not be written back to the Registry.

Max Sessions

The maximum number of sessions that can be run, based on the Licensee details. Read-only.

Win Sessions Limit

The maximum number of Windows sessions that can be run. If no limit is set (limit shows as 0) then all sessions can be consumed.

e.g. To ensure a session is always available for the Web Service set the Win Session Limit to Max Sessions - COM Sessions Reserved - 1.

Web Sessions Limit

The maximum number of Web sessions that can be run.

If no limit is set (limit shows as 0) then all sessions can be consumed.

Note: When the number of web sessions is changed, it can take up to 15 minutes for the change to be applied to the web service. The new web limit will be applied after tokens expire. To apply changes more quickly, you can:

  • Restart the Web Service. This will dissociate tokens from companies, but will retain the tokens.
  • Post to the following URL:

    http://{Server}/admin/V1/Server/CompanyIDCache/refresh

This will push the company limit through to the Web Service, and will not dissociate tokens from companies.

COM Sessions Reserved

The number of sessions reserved for COM.
