Single Sign On

Use Single Sign On to enable users to sign into Accredo at a System level, then be linked through to Companies they have access to.

The System level Sign On can be linked to a Windows login, so logged in Windows Users can be automatically logged into Accredo and their relevant Companies.

System Users can select a default company to be automatically logged into.

Setting Up SSO

Accredo > File > System > System Settings > Passwords tab

To use Single Sign On, select Use Single Sign On. When SSO is enabled, users will need to be logged into the System before they can login to a Company.

After turning on SSO:

You are required to Log In to the System, the master user name is ACCREDO with password initially set to ACCREDO.

You are prompted to "Import Users from All Companies. Are you Sure?"

If you confirm then all Active Users in Companies will be imported as System Users and each Company the User exists in will be added to the Users Companies.

You have the option of also Importing Permission Groups, if selected Permission Groups are imported and System Users will be associated with their Permission Group.

Note that added users and groups will initially have no System level permission, but can log in and select a Company.

Importing Users at this point is optional - users may be imported later on a selective basis if preferred, or set up manually under System Users.

Linking System Users to Windows Users

You can optionally link an Accredo System User to a Windows User. This allows you to automatically log into the Accredo system using the logged in Windows user details. You must have Use Single Sign On selected first.

Go to Accredo > File > System > System Settings. To link System Users to Windows Users. select Allow Windows Login.

Go to Accredo > File > System > Users > User tab. Select the User to setup. Click Edit. In the Windows User Name field, enter the user's windows login user name. When the user is logged into Windows, then starts Accredo, they will be logged in as the corresponding Accredo System User.

Alternatively, if the System User being edited is also the System User currently logged in, you can use the GetWindowsUser Set Windows User button to fill in the currently logged in Windows User Name. The currently logged in System User will be linked to currently logged in Windows User.

Click Save. When the User is logged into Windows and they start Accredo, they will be automatically logged in as the System User.

Automatically Log into a Company

You can set a default Company for a System User, so when the user logs in, they will automatically log into the company.

Go to Accredo > File > System > Users > Companies tab. Select the relevant System User. The Companies the System User has access to are listed.

Click Edit. Select the Company to be made the default company. Click SetAsDefault Set Default Company. The default company will be shown in bold. Click Save.

If the System User is only linked to one company, this will be used as the Default Company.

When the System User logs in, they will be automatically logged into the Default Company.

The ActionUserSync Sync Users button will create the User in the selected company if it does not exist, and will synchronise the password. If the User belongs to a Permission Group, this will be replicated in the company.

The UserFormNavigator Update User Matches button will show which Companies in the list have a matching User, and whether the System User Password matches the Company User Password.

Note: You cannot set auto-login for the ACCREDO master user, unless the ACCREDO user is the only user in the company.

Import Users

Accredo > File > System > Import Users

You can import users from a Company into the system as System Users. This allows you to quickly set up and sync System Users. When you select the Company Code, active users for the Company are shown in the grid. You can select which Company users to import. The Company the user is imported from will be automatically added to their System User Company List.
