Company Code

Company Code.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Company Path

Location of the company files.

Company Type

The type of company, either Live, Test or Demo. Test and Demo companies have a watermark which will be printed over documents.

Backup Path

Select a Company Backup Path.

User Limit

Optional, the maximum number of users for the company. This cannot be more than the System Win Sessions plus Web Sessions.

Win Limit

Available when Single Sign On is enabled.

Optional, the maximum number of windows users for the company. This cannot be more than the System Win Sessions.

Web Limit

Available when Single Sign On is enabled.

Optional, the maximum number of web users for the company. This cannot be more than the System Web Sessions.

Com Limit

Optional, the maximum number of COM users for the company. This cannot be more than the System COM Sessions.

Pool

Optional, companies may be grouped in pools (specified as an integer) to share allocated Users.

Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Edit Company Modules and Users (F11)

Opens Company Modules, you can view, add, edit and delete modules for the Company, and select Users for the company.

Create new Company (Alt+N)

Opens the Company Modules window, allowing you to create a new company.

Insert Record (F4)

Insert a line, type the name and path of an existing Company. The Company and associated data files must have been created first.

Move (Shift+Up) (Shift+Down)

Select a Company and move it higher or lower on the list.

Delete Record (F3)

Select and delete a Company from the list. This does not delete data files; it only removes the Company from the Select Company menu.

Sort list (Ctrl+F2)

Select a field to sort the Company List by. The list will be sorted in ascending order.

Customise Fields (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Refresh list(F5)

Reloads changes other users may have made.

Update Company Code (Alt+C)

Updates the Company Code in the Company Menu with the Company Code set in Company Details.

Validate company modules (Alt+V)

Deletes data files for modules not installed for the Company.

Rekey Company

Company data sets have a signature key to prevent accessing files from another dataset by copying or restoring into a company.

Complete data sets can be rekeyed to make them uniquely keyed. E.g. where a new company is based on a backup from another company or a template company.

Data sets containing mixed signature keys can be rekeyed on application with authorisation via an unlock code obtained from Accredo.
