Header fields

Period

Current System Period (default), select a period to post to.

Batch Class & ID

Fields show Batch class and Batch ID (read-only).

Vertical toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Edit details (F11)

Edit a movement batch.

Insert (F4)

Select a batch class from the menu to insert a new Bin movement batch.

Delete (F3)

Delete the bin movement batch. Only available for saved, unposted batches, when the user has permission.

Print report (Ctrl+P)

Print an IC Bin Movement report of the information in the grid. The information included may be customised from the Report Selections dialog under Options > Customise.

Links (Alt+F6)

Opens Links On... for the record, with a list of links for the record. The button changes to indicate if links are present.

Memos (F6)

Memos and alarms can be entered or edited. The button changes to indicate if memos and alarms are present. Opens Memos On... with a list of Memos.

Delete Nil Lines (Alt+D)

Delete all nil quantity lines from the batch. A line is considered nil if the quantity is zero.

Add Products from Bin

Available for Put-Away batches. Opens Select Products to add lines to the bin movement.

Customise Toolbar

Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.

Batch header

Location

The bin tracked location for the bin movement.This defaults from the User's Default Location Code.

Bin

The default bin for new lines. For Put-Away batches the bin stock is being moved from, for Pick batches the bin stock is being moved to.

Date

The date that the batch will be posted for. Must be within the Period selected. Defaults to the System Date.

Details

Optional description for the bin movement batch header.

Store Person

The Store Person associated with the bin movement batch. This defaults from the User's Default Store Person Code.

Reference

Reference for the bin movement batch.

Comment

Comment for the bin movement batch.

Post Status

Posted and Deleted occur as a result of processing options and cannot be changed.

• Unposted, not yet posted, can be edited.
• Open, open and cannot be posted.
• Posted, has been posted and the movements have occurred, cannot be edited.
• Deleted, has been deleted and moved to history.

Print Status

Shows the batch print status (read-only). Print Status is set to Printed when a batch is printed.

IC Bin Movement Grid

Product Code

The product to be moved.

Bin

For Put-Away batches the bin stock is being moved from, for Pick batches the bin stock is being moved to. Defaults from Bin in the header.

UOM Code

(UOM Active Only)

The UOM Code from the Product. If the Product has more than one UOM Code, you can select the code to use.

Quantity / UOM Quantity

The quantity to be moved, must be less that or equal to the quantity currently in the bin.
If UOM Active the Quantity will be calculated as the UOM Quantity * UOM Multiplier.

Unit

Product unit.

Serial No

For Products which are Purchase Serial No tracked the Serial No to be moved.

Lot No

For Products which are Lot No tracked to Lot No to be moved.

Grid Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Ctrl+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Zoom (Ctrl+F12)

Zoom to form view to see the batch line details.

Insert (F4)

Insert a line in the grid.

Move up (Shift+Up)

Move down (Shift+Down)

Move the line up or down.

Delete (F3)

Removes the record from the grid.

Sort list (Ctrl+F2)

Sort ascending or descending on a field. Sort order is saved on Save.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Prompt for Delete Line On/ Off (Shift+F3)

Toggle on and off to specify whether to confirm deletes. The default state is set in Users, Groups and Roles - Preferences tab.

Bin quantities (Ctrl+Q)

Opens Bin Tracking Quantities showing quantities in the bin.

Tracking Panel

For Put-Away batches specifies the bins stock is being moved to.
For Pick batches specifies the bin stock is being moved from.

Show Tracking
Hide Tracking
(Ctrl+T)

Show or hide the tracking detail for the current line.

Edit tracking detail if required to specify the bins lines are moving to.

Buttons

Batch List (Alt+L)

Opens IC Bin Movement List, you can view a list of all unposted batches.

Post (Alt+S)

Post nil adjustment transactions for the lines with bin movement tracking detail.

Save (F9)

Save the batch. Blank lines at the end will be trimmed. You can re-open saved batches for further editing and/or posting from IC Bin Movement List.

Cancel (Esc)

Close without saving.
