Merge Lot Nos

Navigator > Setup > Inventory Control > Merge Lot Nos

Select the product code. Search for a product using the Accredo Lookups.

Merge Lot Nos to combine mis-entered Lot Nos. This will update data and history to the to Lot number and dates. When you Merge Lot Nos, a log of the changes is appended to the File Recovery Error Log, and recorded in the CO Alias and Merge Log. This is useful when you are integrating a third party application that will need to consider aliased records.

Selections

Product

Select the product to alias Lot No's for.

Fields

From Lot No,
From Lot Date,
From Expiry Date

Enter or select an existing Lot No from the list of Nos. Lot Date and Expiry Date will be displayed.

To Lot No,
To Lot Date,
To Expiry Date

Enter or select an existing Lot No to merge the From Lot No into. The Lot Date and Expiry Date of the To Lot are retained.

Note: Any resulting change to the Expiry Date does not re-visit any existing supply decisions.

Grid Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Insert (F4)

Insert a line.

Move up / Move down

(Shift+Up)

(Shift+Down)

Move a line up or down the grid.

Delete (F3)

Delete a line.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Import (Alt+I)

Import a list of Lot Nos to be changed. This can save time from entering Lot Nos individually. The import file must be a text file with one line per change. The fields on the line can be separated by commas (CSV format) or Tab characters (Tab delimited).

Additional fields will be ignored by the import. Only lines in which both the From Lot No and the To Lot are found and differ are imported. When you import you may be prompted with the Merge Importing report selections, this report shows any error messages for lines which are not imported. If there are errors an exceptions file containing the rejected records is created with file name extension .EXC.
