Alias Lot Nos

Navigator > Setup > Inventory Control > Alias Lot Nos

Select the product code. Search for a product using the Accredo Lookups.

Alias Lot Nos to correct mis-entered Lot No, Expiry date or Lot date. This will update data and history to the new number and dates. When you Alias Lot Nos, a log of the changes is appended to the File Recovery Error Log, and recorded in the CO Alias and Merge Log. This is useful when you are integrating a third party application that will need to consider aliased records.

Selections

Product

Select the product to alias Lot No's for.

Fields

From Lot No,
From Lot Date,
From Expiry Date

Enter or select an existing Lot No from the list of Nos. Lot Date and Expiry Date will be displayed.

To Lot No,
To Lot Date,
To Expiry Date

Enter the new Lot No, Lot Date or Expiry Date. The To Lot No must not already exists in the system, if only the dates are to be changed the To Lot No may be the same as the From Lot No.

Note: Changing the Expiry Date for a lot does not re-visit any existing supply decisions.

Grid Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Insert (F4)

Insert a line.

Move up / Move down

(Shift+Up)

(Shift+Down)

Move a line up or down the grid.

Delete (F3)

Delete a line.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Import (Alt+I)

Import a list of Lot Nos to be changed. This can save time from entering Lot Nos individually. The import file must be a text file with one line per change. The fields on the line can be separated by commas (CSV format) or Tab characters (Tab delimited).

Additional fields will be ignored by the import. Only lines in which the From Lot No is found and the To Lot is either the same as the From Lot No or is not found are imported. When you import you may be prompted with the Alias Importing report selections, this report shows any error messages for lines which are not imported. If there are errors an exceptions file containing the rejected records is created with file name extension .EXC.

Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.

Print the Summary of Alias IC report. See Report Selections Form Bin Code.

Post (Alt+T)

Post the changes.
