IC Sell Prices Grid

Navigator > Maintain > Inventory Control > Products > Products tab > Sell prices grid

The grid shows a line for each Price code, setup from Navigator > Setup > Company > Configuration > Price Lists.

The Price codes can be retail, trade, or wholesale.

Price UOM

(UOM Active Only)

UOM Price will be displayed for the UOM selected. Defaults to the Default Sale UOM.

Grid Columns

Code

The Price List Code for the price. Price Codes are set up in Price Lists.

Price

Each product can have a Selling Price for each Price code. When Customers are setup in AR, set the Price code for Invoicing. The Selling Price is transferred to the invoices generated in IN and to the Sales Order entered in OE (possibly subject to an adjustment or a discount from the Discount Schedule). For Special Pricing options such as contract pricing or date based specials use Special Pricing.

Markup

Shows the markup from cost price for the Price Code.

Selected, set Markup Percentages for calculation of Selling Prices. Set the Markup Basis and choose to Apply Markups from IC Settings. Selling Price options are calculated as follows,

None	No markup calculations are used.
Standard	Sell Price n = Standard Cost + Markup n % x Standard Cost.
Latest	Sell Price n = Latest Cost + Markup n % x Latest Cost.
Price Code	Sell Price x + Markup n % x Sell Price x (Sell Price x is the Markup Price code selected under IC Settings).

Markups can be negative (a discount percentage), use this when setting markups on Price codes, for example, you can use the retail Price code as the Markup Price code, and calculate trade and wholesale Selling Prices using a negative markup.

Name

Shows the Price List Name from Price List.

UOM Price

The price per Price UOM selected.

Margin

For Base Currency sell prices, the effective margin percentage.

Grid Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Ctrl+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Print Report (Ctrl+P)

Print a report of the information in the grid.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Markup Prices (Ctrl+M)

Applies the Markup percentage to the markup basis Cost Price or Price Code to determine the Selling Price.

Special Pricing Information (Ctrl+4)

Opens Special Pricing Price Query (if available), you can query the results of a rule applied to a line. If a Special Price is applied, the rule reference displays with other information depending on the Special Pricing script.

Customise Toolbar

Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.
