Accredo will soon complete a key piece of business-to-business software integration that allows customers who supply products to Progressive Enterprises’ supermarkets to automate ordering and significantly reduce their paper processing.

Accredo Channel Manager, Kevin Carberry, says the work is similar to that which it undertook for those customers who supply Foodstuffs' supermarkets.

"As with the Foodstuffs improvements, this is all about trying to simplify supply chain management for our customers. It will allow customers who supply Progressives to fully link Accredo's order processing and invoicing with Progressive's electronic ordering system.

He says the integration will automate key ordering and invoicing activities and will remove the need for customers to print out invoices and manually send them to each individual store.

The Progressive integration scripts which require the Data Interchange module for Accredo are expected to be ready for release shortly. Contact your QSP or Accredo if you supply Progressive and are interested.
