Change Tracking Logs

Navigator > Setup > [Module] > [Module] Change Tracking Log

View changes made to a module. Set table fields to be tracked in Change Tracking.

Selections

From - To Date

Set a date range to see settings changes made. Leave blank to see all dates. Defaults to changes made within the last month of the machine date.

User

Select a user to see changes made by a particular user.

Table Name

Select a table name to see changes made to a particular table. If not selected, changes to all tables are shown.

The drop-down shows whether each table is being tracked for changes.

For sub object tables selecting the Table Name joins additional identifying information into the Tables grid for the master record the change relates to, e.g if tracking ICUOM selecting the ICUOM table joins in the Product Code.

Field Name

Enabled when a Table Name is selected. A tracked field name may be selected to see changes made to the selected field. If not selected, tracked changes for the table are shown.

The drop-down shows whether each field is being tracked for changes.

Auto Select

Selected, selections, filters and sorts will be immediately applied to the list.

Clear, selections, filters and sorts are not automatically applied.

Select (F9)

Click to apply selections, filters and sorts to the list.

Tables Grid Fields

Account File

The table name changed.

Account Code

Identifier of the record changed.

Type

Type of change made.

Created Date

Date the change was made.

Created Time

Time the change was made.

User Code

User that made the change.

Tables Grid Toolbar

ToolbarExpand

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Open (F12)

Opens the details of the change.

RecordFilterSort_Hot

Filter / Sort List (Ctrl+F2)

Clear Filter / Sort (Ctrl+F3)

Apply or clear a Filter & Sort. The button changes to indicate if a filter and sort is applied.

After setting the filter, click Select (F9) to show the changes.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Refresh (F5)

Reloads the table to reflect any changes made.

Create List View (Alt+L)

Save the current list state as a List View.

Fields Grid Fields

Line No

Change line number.

Name

Field Name changed.

Old Value

Previous value of the field.

New Value

New value of the field.

Fields Grid Toolbar

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Totals

Record Count

The total number of records shown in the Tables list. Click RecordCount to refresh the total number.

Print (Ctrl+P)

Print the Tracking Log, or save it to an Excel worksheet or PDF file.
