List Views may be created from any List where the
button is available to provide quick access to the list in its current form.
A List View is a combination of a List View script (file extention *.pfv) and a List View Shortcut.
The List View script records the selections, filters and sorts, and (optionally) any grid customisation applied at the time the List View is created.
The List View shortcut is added to the Navigator below the List it is created from and assigned to the User that created it. Edit the shortcut and add Users to the Users tab to share with other Users.
Creation, deletion and execution of List Views requires Company > Scripts > List Views permission only.
Editing List View Shortcuts to share with other users or adjust the location on the Navigator is subject to the Company > Scripts > Shortcuts permission.
Period Range selections are recorded for List Views as offsets relative to the Current Period for the module concerned, the exception to this is for Transaction Lists where if a range of dates is explicitly specified the dates are recorded and override the relative period specification.
List View Name |
The name which will appear in the Navigator and is used for the saved List View file. Defaults to the navigator name of the list form it relates to followed by a dash, name the lists for easy identification. List View Name is included in the List View Shortcut Action Name. List View files (extension .pfv) are saved to the Scripts\ListViews folder. Click |
Save Grid Columns |
