Change Tracking

Navigator > Setup > Company > Configuration > Change Tracking

Select tables to track changes on. Some system tables are automatically tracked. These are listed, and cannot be deleted from the list. You can select to track specific fields in these or other tables.

Change tracking may be used for more than one purpose, just at the file level where what is required is an easy way to determine which records have been modified over a period of time for synchronisation purposes. And/Or at the field level where OldValue and NewValue are recorded for changes to the specified fields, there is of course a speed cost to logging per field.

If using the Accredo Mobile Applications ensure Add Tables for Mobile App has been selected from the toolbar, the apps rely on change tracking for these tables.

Changes will be shown in the module Tracking Logs.
