TAPI - Telephone Support

Accredo > View > Preferences > General tab > Active Phone

TAPI (Telephone Application Programming Interface) integrates information in Accredo with incoming and outgoing telephone calls.

Make Phone Call is available for Contacts on documents and Customer and Creditor selections on documents, jobs, and transactions.

Outgoing calls using TAPI

You can setup telephone numbers and contact details in Accredo to integrate your telephone system to phone Customers and Creditors.

Select the relevant field, click  to dial the number shown.

The script TAPIOnMakeCall.pfs is included in the server install. This script can be used to make a TAPI phone call.

Incoming calls using TAPI

Write and attach a Script Event to the Company OnPhoneCall event, for example, to locate a Customer or Creditor record based on their telephone number.

The script TAPIOnPhoneCall.pfs is included in the server install. This script takes a number from an incoming call, determines whether the phone number is a Customer or Creditor, shows the caller details and gives options.
