Licensee Details & Accredo Security Code

Accredo > File > Licensee details

Licensee Details will open automatically when Accredo is started until Accredo has been secured. The Accredo Security Code must be entered before you can perform End Of Period processing, and a watermark will appear on reports until it is entered.

To obtain an Accredo Security Code, complete the Licensee Details.

1. Click Edit (F11) and complete the fields on the Address, Details and QSP (Accredo Qualified Support Person) tabs.
2. Click Save (F9), then Print (Ctrl+P) the Accredo Security Application, sign it and send to Accredo Business Software Ltd.

Once saved QSP Contact information can be accessed under Accredo > Help > Contact QSP Company Name.

Use the Accredo Security Code to Secure Accredo

Accredo will send you a security code. On receiving the Accredo security code:

1. Go to Accredo > File > Licensee Details
2. Click Secure (Alt+S) and enter the Accredo Security Code. When the "System secured" message appears, Accredo is secure. The name in the Licensee Name field must match the name on the Accredo Security Application containing the Accredo Security Code. If the name is changed after printing the Accredo Security Application, advise Accredo Business Software Ltd.

Changing Licensee name

Changing Licensee name after the system is secured will make the system unsecured. Submit a new Accredo Security Application with documentation for the reason for the name change, and Accredo will issue a new security code.

Changing Install Key

If you are issued a new installation key from Accredo, click Install (Alt+I) and enter the new key. This can be used to add or remove modules or users.

Check Accredo for Licence changes

Provided there is internet access Accredo checks daily for changes to your licence e.g. adding or removing modules or users, for subscription licence expiry date, and for build status.

The license and build checks go to: ops.accredo.co.nz, ensure this address is white-listed in your firewall.

Click Check Accredo (Alt+A) to manually initiate a licence check.

System tab

Displays details for the system:

Serial No.
Expiry date for systems with subscription modules or users.
Maximum concurrent users.
Modules installed and whether the modules is a subscription module.

Perpetual / Subscription Licence tabs

The Accredo Software Licence(s) which apply to the system are displayed, when viewing the Licence tabs select Print to print the Licence.

Privacy tab

The Accredo Privacy Policy is displayed, when viewing the Privacy tab select Print to print the Privacy Policy.
