System Date & System Period

Accredo > View > System Date - OR -

Click the Date or Period field of the status bar in the lower right of the main Accredo window - OR -

This window opens automatically on startup if Prompt for date on startup is selected for the logged in User in Users, Groups and Roles > Preferences tab.

Enter the system period and date. The System Date and System Period appear in the Date and Period fields of the lower Status bar in the Accredo window.

• If no periods have been added, no periods will be available for selection and the date will default to the machine date.
• The System Date and the calendar date can be different. You can set the System Date to be earlier if processing is not up to date.
• The System Date is the default for most date fields in Accredo.
• The System Period is the Accounting period. The System Date must be within the date range for the System Period.
• The System Date and System Period apply to a Company, and can be set separately for each Company.
