Guarded File

Accredo contains a guarded text file that lists the files to be updated from the server when a new version is available. The file has one of the following names:

SaturnGuarded.txt
SaturnGuarded64.txt
MercuryGuarded.txt
MercuryGuarded64.txt

The guarded file resides on the server in the AccredoSaturn or AccredoMercury directory.

Files

The guarded file lists the Accredo executable file (.exe), the Accredo help file (.chm), and other files to be updated. Files that may be included are:

AccredoSaturn.exe / AccredoSaturn64.exe / AccredoMercury.exe / AccredoMercury64.exe
AccredoSaturn.chm / AccredoMercury.chm

The Accredo .exe must be the first file in the file list.

For example, a SaturnGuarded64.txt file could include:

AccredoSaturn64.exe

AccredoSaturn.chm

Switches

The following switches can be used in the guarded file.

Switch	Description
;OlderVersions	When the ;OlderVersions switch is used, any changed versions of files will be copied, not just newer versions. Use ;OlderVersions as the first line of the guarded file. This is useful for downgrading versions in the event of an issue.
