Install OLEDB/ODBC Drivers

To access the Accredo database via OLEDB/ODBC from within other applications such as Microsoft Excel and Access, install the Accredo OLEDB/ODBC drivers. The Data Interchange module must be installed in the relevant Accredo database.

Access to Accredo data via OLEDB/ODBC is read only. To write back to the database from another application, use Data Interchange and the Accredo data objects to maintain data integrity.

The OLEDB/ODBC drivers can be 32-bit or 64-bit. The OLEDB/ODBC drivers must be the same bit selection as the client.

To install the Accredo OLEDB/ODBC driver, you can either:

• Insert the Accredo Installation Media. If the Accredo Installer does not open, use Windows explorer to browse to the Accredo Installation Media folder, then run the AutoRun file. Click OLEDB/ODBC Driver Install or OLEDB/ODBC Driver 64bit Install. - OR -
• From the Accredo website, download the Accredo OLEDB/ODBC Driver or Accredo OLEDB/ODBC Driver (64). Run the downloaded file.

Follow the prompts to install the OLEDB/ODBC Driver. The default destination folder is C:\Program Files\AccredoDB.
