The Book code for the line. |

Depn Code |
The Depreciation code for this book. Determines the way depreciation is calculated. |

Depn Rate |
The Depreciation rate for this book. For Depreciation codes calculated on Days Held (Australian tax regime) the Depreciation rate is automatically calculated based on the Useful life. |

Useful Life |
Useful life in years. For Depreciation codes calculated on Days Held (Australian tax regime) the Depreciation rate is automatically calculated based on the Useful life. For other Depreciation codes Useful life may be entered if desired but has no effect on depreciation. |

Residual |
The Residual (or non-depreciable) value for this book. |

The Depreciation code, Depreciation rate and Useful Life may default from the Asset Group Depreciation defaults, but can be specified per asset and book. If there are no transactions for this book for the asset, the Depreciation code, Depreciation rate, Useful life and Residual value can be edited. If transactions exist, use Change Depreciation to edit them. Note: Changing the depreciation rate will regenerate missing depreciations. Where there are manual depreciation transactions, depreciation will not be regenerated. |

Depn From |
The first period that Depreciation transactions will be generated for. This is set automatically and may be edited provided no depreciation transactions have been generated after an addition has been entered. |

The last period that Depreciation transactions have been generated for. |

Values |
The Values shown are as at Last Available Period, so they include the effect of all transactions including future transactions.

Refresh |

You can toggle to show or hide Inactive Books. |

Change Depreciation |
Open Change Depreciation for the asset to change Depreciation Code, Rate, Useful Life and Residual Value once transactions have been entered for the asset. |

Assign the asset to one or more Branch and Department codes for integration to GL and reporting. |

Branch |
Branch the asset is assigned to. |

Department |
Department the Asset is assigned to. |

Percentage |
The percentage that applies to the branch and department combination, the total must sum to 100%. |

Insert |
Insert a new split line above the selected line. |

Delete |
Delete the selected split line. Split lines may only be deleted when all values are zero. Since values at last transfer to GL are stored for split lines you may need to set the percentage to zero, then perform a transfer to GL, then delete the split line when assigning an asset to a different branch and department. |

Print |
Print a report of the information in the grid. |
