Code

A unique code, (cannot be edited), may be changed see Alias Codes.

Asset Group 0000 (default Group code) is used to analyse assets if the Asset Group is unspecified.

Name

Name that appears on reports and lookup controls.

GL Asset Account

Used for GL integration for dissection type Addition (A).

GL Depn Accum

GL Depreciation Accumulated. Used for GL integration for dissection type Depreciation (D).

GL Depn Expense

GL Depreciation Expense. Used for GL integration for dissection type Expense (E).

GL Depn Recovered

GL Depreciation Recovered. Used for GL integration for dissection type Recovered (C).

GL Reval Reserve

GL Revaluation Reserve. Used for GL integration for dissection type Reserve (R).

GL Reval Write Down

GL Revaluation Write Down. Used for GL integration for dissection type Write down (W).

GL Disposal Gain

Used for GL integration for dissection type Gain (G).

GL Disposal Loss

Used for GL integration for dissection type Loss (L).

Inactive

You can make Asset Groups inactive. You cannot post transactions for Assets with Inactive Asset Groups.

Grid Toolbar

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Zoom (Ctrl+F12)

Access grid fields in Form view for each line on the grid. Groups can be entered/edited in the form or on the grid. To view more fields use the scroll buttons or resize the window.

Insert (F4)

Enter additional Asset Group codes and information.

Delete (F3)

Delete Asset Group codes and information.

Print (Ctrl+P)

Print a report of the information in the grid.

Filter / Sort List (Ctrl+F2)

Clear Filter / Sort (Ctrl+F3)

Apply or clear a Filter & Sort. The button changes to indicate if a filter and sort is applied.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Refresh (F5)

Reloads changes other Users may have made.

Default GL Accounts (Ctrl+D)

Set the GL Accounts for the selected group to the default GL Accounts set in FA Settings - Integration tab.

Note: If the default accounts are blank, existing accounts will not be overwritten.

Depreciation Defaults (Ctrl+R)

Opens FA Depreciation Defaults - Group for the selected Group.

Customise Toolbar

Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.
