Customise Buttons

ToolbarExpand Customise Toolbar > Customise Buttons

or Right-click in the toolbar to access the Customise Toolbar > Customise Buttons.

Customise button ordering and visibility for toolbar buttons including any added as script shortcuts.

Grid

Glyph

The glyph for the button as it appears on the toolbar.

Button Name

The Button Name as it appears in the Menu.

Visible

Controls visibility and availability for the button.

Toolbar and Menu, the button is visible in the toolbar, available in the menu and via the keyboard shortcut.

Menu Only, the button does not appear in the toolbar but is available in the menu and via the keyboard shortcut. Set less frequently used options to Menu Only.

Not Visible, the button does not appear on the toolbar nor in the menu and cannot be triggered by the keyboard shortcut. Functionality is still script enabled.

Note: Insert and Delete buttons can not be set Not Visible.

Toolbar

ToolbarExpand

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Move record up/down (Shift+Up) (Shift+Down)

Change the button position.

Print (Ctrl+P)

Print a report of the information in the grid.

Customise Fields (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Sort Buttons (Alt+O)

Sorts buttons with Toolbar and Menu visible buttons to the top, then Menu Only visible buttons, then Not Visible buttons and preserves ordering within those groups.

GetDefaults

Refresh Button (Alt+B)

Set the Visibility for the current row to the default.

RestoreDefaults

Restore defaults (Alt+R)

Restore the Visibility for all rows field settings to their defaults.

Buttons

MenuPopup

Load (Alt+L)

You can load a customisation saved for a User or Group, or a global customisation saved for All Users. Save, maintain, or use it as the basis for another customisation (see Permissions). If an option is unavailable, no customisation is saved for the User or Group.

Delete (Alt+D)

To delete a customisation, select a customisation from the drop-down. If an option is unavailable, no customisation is saved for the User or User Group.

Apply (Alt+A)

Closes the window and applies changes without saving. To save changes, re-open, click Save.

Save (Alt+S)

Select the User, Group, Role or Global from the drop-down.

List is ordered as follows: Global; Current User; Users or Groups with saved customisations; other Groups; other Users.

Close (Esc)

Closes the window without applying changes.

Apply and Save (F9)

Save a customisation for a User or User Group, or globally for All Users who do not have a customisation saved for a User or User Group, closes the window and applies the changes.

Select the User or User Group, or Global from the drop-down.

List is ordered as follows: Global; Current User; Users or Groups with saved customisations; other Groups; other Users.
