Accredo recommend the following settings and preferences for Accredo workstations.
Display Settings
We recommend a screen / desktop area resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels or higher. Accredo supports High DPI (Dots Per Inch) scaling, from 100% to 200%.
Date / Time Settings
Accredo uses the Short Date style specified in Windows Regional Options. We recommend using dd-mmm-yyyy format. Other applications may require dd-mm-yyyy format. We do not recommend using formats where the month precedes the day (for example, mm-dd-yyyy) or two-digit year formats (for example, dd-mm-yy).
Ensure the date and time settings on each workstation are correct, and check they match the date and time settings on the Server.
Power and Sleep Settings
If your computer is configured to sleep after a period of idle time, ensure that you are not leaving Accredo running across this. When Windows puts a computer to sleep, open network connections are dropped because it is not responding to the server. This is a Windows setting and is not something Accredo has control over. If your machine wakes from sleep, Accredo wakes up and can't survive since all its network connections have gone.
Certain Windows power settings can cause your network adapter to go to sleep which can result in network errors. Ensure that the settings for Link State Power Management is set to 'Off'. You can find this in the Advanced settings for your Windows power plan. Go to Windows Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings > PCI Express.
Drive Mapping
Drive Letters mapped via Group Policy should be configured to Update rather than Replace. Replacing can cause the mapped drive to disconnect, and reconnecting can trigger Error Code 59 or 87 issues.
Preferences
Accredo > View > Preferences
Use the Preferences in Accredo to modify options per workstation. Preferences are stored in the System by default, but can be stored in the workstation registry. The default location is set in File > System > Settings.
Preferences per user can be set in Setup > Company > Users > Users, Groups and Roles > Preferences tab.
