Upgrading to a Later Version of Accredo

Installation and Data Conversions Checklist

We recommend

• Arrange for your Accredo Qualified Support Person (QSP) to upgrade your system and train staff in the new features.
• If you have mission critical customisations to Accredo, perform a test upgrade and test customisations before going live.
• Having a full backup of the entire Accredo server installation.

In your current Accredo version for each company

1. Take a backup.
2. Run a file recovery and check any errors with your QSP or Accredo Support.

Install the upgrade

1. Request the Accredo Installation key for the new version from [email protected].
2. Download the Server installation from: Accredo Downloads Centre.
3. Run the installer and enter your Accredo Installation Key.
4. Perform the Server Installation into the current Accredo Server installation directory.

Note: If you have the Accredo Web Service, you will also need to download the Web Service installer and install into the Server directory.

In Accredo, for each company

1. Open the company and convert the data as prompted.
2. Take a backup, do not overwrite the backup made prior to conversion.
3. Run a full file recovery and check any errors with your QSP or Accredo Support.

Notes: If you are upgrading by more than a single version there is no need to install each release, go directly to the current version and data conversion will iterate through the versions prompting as necessary.
