Scripts & Scripting

You can use Accredo MaxBasic to automate procedures. We recommend you record and test scripts in a test Company before running them in a live environment. Scripting is a powerful tool. Accredo Support can write scripts to specification.

Record a script

1. Click Record (Alt+F1) on the Accredo toolbar. The button will change to to show it is recording.
2. Perform the steps to record the script.
3. Click Record (Alt+F1). The button will change to and the Script Editor will open. You can edit, save, test and run the script.

Write a script

Double-click to write a new script or edit an existing script. Script Editor will open.

Run a script

Click Play a Script (Alt+F3) on the main toolbar to run a script. Windows file open will appear. Select a script to run.
