SA Analysis Report Designer

Navigator > Reports > Sales Analysis > Analysis Report Designer

Analysis Report Designers separate the design and running of analysis reports. Use the Sales Analysis Report Designer to create reports based on sales information.

Access requires permission for the Designer and Control permission for Reports.

You can:

Sample reports are installed with Accredo. These can be loaded and run against your data. Samples can be modified and saved under a new name.

Buttons

ScriptAddShortcut

Add To Navigator... (Alt+N)

Add reports to the Navigator once saved by adding a shortcut to the Analysis Report from the Navigator. The report may be run from the shortcut. Right click the shortcut to Edit the Shortcut, or Edit the Shortcut Source, this opens the report design in the Analysis Report Designer.

Run (F9)

Runs the report, allowing you to test your definition. If you have made changes, you will be prompted to save the changes before running.

Save Query As...

Save the generated SQL Query as a Query file which can be loaded in Report Designer or SQL Query Builder.

Note that Analysis Reports extract data via the SQL Query and then post- process the data.

Load

Loads an existing report definition file to run or use or as the basis for another report. To load a report, click Load, select a report definition file, click Open.

Save...

Saves as a report definition file. Once a report definition file is saved, you can add it to the Navigator or to a report list, maintain it, or use it as the basis for another report.

Note: To access the Sales Analysis Designer you need full Control access to the SA Designer and SA Reports.
