Field Name

Select fields from those available in the drop-down menus, from the Product and the Purchase Price.

Width

Display Width

The width of fixed length string fields is shown in the Width field. You can change the space allowed on the list to a different value in the Display Width fields. The Width and Display Width are measured in a standard character size (the digit 0).

If you change the Display Width, consider,

  • reports are usually printed in a proportional font, the Display Width is only indicative of the number of characters that will fit.
  • if the number of characters in the Display Width is less than the number in the Width field, this can result in data being truncated on the list.

Display Label

The field heading that will be printed on the list for the field on this line.

Visible

Only selected fields will appear for the Price list. Click to toggle the value. Non-visible fields are available for filter and sort on the Selections tab, you can Filter & Sort the Price code using criteria you do not want shown.

UOM Code

If UOM is Pending or Active, you can select a UOM Code for Purchase Price fields. If a UOM Code is specified, prices returned will be UOM Prices. If Quantity Breaks are available and a UOM Code is specified, Quantities returned will be UOM Quantities. If a product does not have the UOM Code specified, nothing will be returned.

Quantity

If you use quantity breaks, enter a quantity you want a price for. The quantity is only available if the field selected is from the PP rule. If you do not use quantity breaks, the Quantity field is unavailable for fields.

Group

This field allows grouping to be added to Price codes. To group the list on a field, enter a digit (1-9) in this field. The number represents the grouping level - 1 is the outermost level of grouping. It is unusual to group more than one level, selecting Group involves putting 1 in this field for all the grouping fields. For example, to group by Stock Group, put a 1 in this field for StockGroupCode and StockGroupName.
