IC Stocktake Import

Navigator > Tasks > Inventory Control > Stocktake Processing > Import Stocktake

For Basic Stocktakes only, selected in IC Settings - Stocktake tab.

You can import stocktake quantities from a file instead of entering them manually in IC Enter Quantities. This is useful when stocktaking has been done using a bar code scanner that generates an output file.

Location

Select the location of the stocktake. (Accredo Saturn Only)

 

Import Format

You can import stocktake quantities from a file, rather than keying them in manually via Enter Quantities. The format of the file can be:

  • Standard - use with tab delimited or comma delimited (.csv) files. format is:

    Product Code, Quantity

  • Standard with Bin - use with tab delimited or comma delimited (.csv) files. format is:

    Product Code, Quantity, Bin Code

  • Opticon - standard Opticon laser terminal format.

In all formats Barcode can be substituted for Product Code.

File Name

Select the file name and location of the import file.

Period

Select the period for the stocktake.

Run (F9)

IC Stocktake Import will open. Select report selections for the report showing the results of the import.
