GL Tutorial: Saturn Report showing Branches across page

This tutorial is not available for Accredo Mercury.

This tutorial shows you how to create a GL Financial Report that will list branches across the report.

1. Open the GL Financial Report Designer from Navigator > Setup > General Ledger > Financial Report Designer.
2. Click the Wizard button. The GL Design Wizard will open.
3. Enter a Report Title, such as Statement by Branch.
4. Select the Account(s) to report on.
5. On the Iterators tab, make the following selections:

• Consolidate Branches - Selected
• Consolidate Departments - Selected

1. In the Branch field, enter the branches to be listed. You will need to type these. For example, in the Accredo Demo system, type AKL,CHCH,HO.
2. Go to the Bands tab. In the Report Columns Grid, add the following rows:

• Contents: Account > Account Code
• Contents: Account > Account Name
• Contents: Actual > Period > Period Balance Current Period; Branch: AKL
• Contents: Actual > Period > Period Balance Current Period; Branch: CHCH
• Contents: Actual > Period > Period Balance Current Period; Branch: HO
• Contents: Actual > Period > Period Balance Current Period

  You will have added the Period Balance Current Period once for each branch, and once with no branch selected for the total.

1. Click Generate (F9). The wizard will create a report for you.
2. You can run the report to check the layout. Click Execute Report (Ctrl+R).

Note: You can also do this for Departments, by listing Departments instead of Branches.
