GL Chart of Account Comparison Results

Navigator > Tasks > General Ledger > Compare Chart Of Accounts > Run (F9)

Accounts with differences between the compared fields in the Companies charts of accounts are listed. Fields which differ are highlighted.

The Action column will show what action can be taken to align the Accounts:

Add - The account exists in the Other Company but not in the current Company. Apply the Action to add the account to the current Company, all fields are replicated.
Edit - One or more compared fields differ between the account in the Other Company and the current Company. Apply the Action to edit the account in the current Company to match the account in the Other Company, only compared fields are edited.
Delete - The account does not exist in the Other Company and can be deleted from the current Company. Apply the Action to delete the account in the current Company.
Inactivate - The account does not exist in the Other Company and cannot be deleted from the current Company but can be made inactive. Apply the Action to inactivate the account in the current Company
None - The account does not exist in the Other Company and cannot be made inactive in the current Company. No action can be taken in the current Company. Run the Compare Chart of Accounts while logged into the Other Company and these accounts will appear with the Add action.


Grid toolbar
	Expand Toolbar `(Alt+F9)`	Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press `Esc` to close the expanded toolbar.
	Zoom `(Ctrl+F12)`	Zoom to form view to see the GL Compare Result line.
	Open `(F12)`	Open to view details.
	Print `(Ctrl+P)`	Print a report of the information in the grid.
	Filter / Sort List `(Ctrl+F2)` Clear Filter / Sort `(Ctrl+F3)`	Apply or clear a Filter & Sort. The button changes to indicate if a filter and sort is applied.
	Customise `(Alt+F5)`	Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.
	Refresh `(F5)`	Reloads changes other Users may have made.
	Apply Action	Apply the Action for the selected row.
	Apply All Actions	Apply the Action for all rows. Note: You can filter the list and apply all will act on only the filtered accounts. E.g. Filter for Action = A(dd) to show accounts which can be added, then Apply All to add the accounts.
Totals
Differences			Total number of differences between the Chart of Accounts.
