GL Budget Copy

Navigator > Tasks > General Ledger > Budget Copy

GL Budgets can be copied from one Budget code to another to apply an update by a percentage or an amount, and rounded to the required nearest amount. You can also copy from Actuals to a Budget. When you copy to a Budget code that currently contains budgets, a confirmation message will appear.

You can copy between Budget codes in the same financial year or another.

Account - From / To

Specify a range of accounts. Leave blank to include all accounts.

Branch

Department

You can select to copy for a specific Branch and / or Department. (Accredo Saturn Only)

 

Copy From

Select to copy from Budgets or Actuals figures.

Budget From

Select the budget to copy from (available if Copy From is Budgets).

Budget To

Select the budget to copy to.

Year From

Select the year to copy from.

Year From - Last Period

You can select the last period in the Year From to copy the budget for. Leave blank to copy the whole year.

Year To

Select the year to copy to.

Update Method

You can optionally select to update by a Percentage or Amount.

Update By

Enter the percentage or amount to update by.

Include Inactive

Selected, inactive accounts will be copied.

Run (F9)

Copies the budgets. The GL Budget Copy report selections are displayed.
