AR Sales Area Budget

Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Receivable > Budgets > Sales Area Budgets

You can enter, view and edit budgets for each Sales Area. Budgets can also be launched from Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Receivable > Sales Areas > Balances tab.

Select Area

Select the Sales Area to show the budget for.

Financial Year

Select the financial year to show.

Toolbar

ToolbarExpand

Expand Toolbar (Alt+F9)

Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press Esc to close the expanded toolbar.

Edit (F11)

Edit the budget.

BudgetSplit

Split Budget Amount (Ctrl+S)

A window will prompt for the total year budget. Key in this amount and it will be divided equally across all periods.

BudgetRepeat

Repeat Budget Amounts (Ctrl+R)

A window will prompt for the period budget amount. Key in this amount and it will be repeated across all period budgets.

Budget Copy

Copy Budget Amounts (Ctrl+3)

A window will prompt for you to copy from. Select either Last Years Budgets or Last Years Actuals.

Budget Add Percent

Add Percent to Budgets (Ctrl+5)

A window will prompt for a percentage amount to be added to all periods.

Budget Add Amount

Add Amounts to Budgets (Ctrl+4)

A window will prompt for an amount to be added to all periods.

 

Customise Toolbar

ToolbarExpand Customise Toolbar or right-click in the toolbar below the buttons to access the Customise Toolbar Menu.

Grid Toolbar

Print (Ctrl+P)

Print a report of the information in the grid.

Customise (Alt+F5)

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the grid.

Grid fields

Period Name

The period for the budget.

LY Actual

The actual sales value for the period last year.

LY Budget

The budgeted sales value for the period last year.

Budget

The budgeted sales value for the period.

Actual

The actual sales value for the period.

Totals panel

Customise panel

Opens Customise Fields, you can customise the fields visible in the totals panel.

Last Year Budget

The total budgeted sales value for last year.

Current Year Budget

The total budgeted sales value for the year.
