AR Transaction List

View accounts receivable transactions. The list supports filtering by period, date range, customer, transaction type, sales person, and sales area. The default sort order is by period, then transaction date, then transaction ID (all ascending).

Search Options

Transaction ID

Search by the system-generated transaction ID number.

Reference

Search by transaction reference (e.g., invoice number, receipt number).

Order No

Default Columns

Transaction ID

The system-generated unique identifier. Clicking a transaction opens its AR detail page based on the transaction type: Journals open the AR Journal page, Receipts the AR Receipt page, Invoices the AR Invoice page, and Credit Notes the AR Credit page. A separate drill-down action opens the source document instead: transactions sourced from AR open the matching AR page, while those sourced from the Invoicing module open the IN Invoice page.

Transaction Date

The date the transaction was posted.

Customer Code

The customer account this transaction belongs to.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Transaction Type

The type of transaction (e.g., Invoice, Receipt, Credit Note, Journal).

Reference

The transaction reference number.

Period

The accounting period the transaction was posted to.

Debit Amount

The debit portion of the transaction.

Credit Amount

The credit portion of the transaction.

Unallocated Amount

The portion of this transaction not yet allocated to other transactions.

Filters

Period

Filter by accounting period. This is a transaction-type period selector with support for an Unallocated option. Changing the period filter updates the related Transaction Date filter.

Transaction Date

Filter by transaction date range (from/to). Changing the date range updates the related Period filter.

Customer Code

Filter by a range of customer codes (from/to).

Transaction Type

Filter by one or more transaction types using multi-select (based on the ARTranType enumeration).

Sales Person Code

Filter by sales person.

Sales Area Code

Filter by sales area.

Unallocated Only

When enabled, only shows transactions that are not fully allocated (PeriodFullyAllocated equals zero).

Note: In Saturn editions, additional Branch Code and Department Code filters are available.

Features

New Transaction

The toolbar New button creates a transaction. Journal and Receipt are always offered. Invoice and Credit are only offered when the Invoicing module is unavailable or the "Allow AR Invoice/Credit" setting is enabled.

Drill Down

Drill down from a transaction to its source document. Transactions sourced from AR open the matching AR page (Journal, Receipt, Invoice, or Credit); transactions sourced from the Invoicing module open the IN Invoice page.

Credit Note Highlighting

Credit Note rows are visually highlighted in the grid.

Warning: Transactions cannot be deleted for auditing reasons. Editability depends on various system constraints.
