PA Report Designer - Sort/Limit tab

Use the Sort grid to determine the sort order for records in the report. Use the Limit grid to limit the number of records included in the report.

The Sort and Limit grids can be used together to produce Top N reports, for example Top 10 Creditors by Purchases.


Sort Grid
Sort Field		Select report fields from the report to sort by. By default, reports sort on the primary key, such as Code, DocumentID or LineID. You can sort on fields included on the report except for CrossTab fields.
Descending		Selected, records will be sorted in descending order. Clear, records will be sorted in ascending order.
Grid Toolbar
	Expand Toolbar `(Ctrl+F9)`	Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press `Esc` to close the expanded toolbar.
	Insert `(F4)`	Insert a line.
	Move up / Move down `(Shift+Up)` `(Shift+Down)`	Move a line up or down the grid.
	Delete `(F3)`	Delete a line.
	Clear Sort	Clear the sort fields.
Limit Grid
Group		The group to apply the limit to.
Record Limit		Enter the maximum number of records to be included in the group.
Analysis		Analysis type for the group.
