JC Job Reports - Add Layout

Navigator > Reports > Job Costing > Job Reports > Add Layout

You can add and customise layouts. Once you have added a layout, it becomes a report and will be available from the appropriate Reports folder.

Layouts
Job	The layout includes two bands, Job Band - contains all the fields from the Job record. Description band - iterates over the description for each job. You can create a number of different reports from supplied layouts, two typical layouts are, Multi-line Job report shows job details on line 1, followed by lines of the Job description. Single line per Job WIP report created by adding InvoicedAmount and WorkInProgress to the visible fields in the Job band and making the Description band invisible.
Job and Estimate	Report on estimates for one or more Jobs at the end of a selected period, layout includes, Job Band - contains all the fields from the Job record. Description band - iterates over the description for each job. Estimate - contains fields from the Job estimates.
Job Balances	Select balances from the Job record, report on Work In Progress and other balances as at the end of a selected period. Automatically includes inactive jobs if they were active at the period the report is run for. Work in Progress figures are updated continuously.
Job Budget	Shows 12 period budget figures from the period selected back. Total is the total of budgets from earliest period included to the reporting period.
Job Budget Comparison	Contains budget and Activity figures for the selected period and year to date. Percentages compare budgets with the activity. This report can be run at the end of any period.
Job Links	This report shows the links associated with jobs for a range of periods.
Work In Progress	A summary of Work In Progress Detail layout, does not show transaction details, only totals. Display Nil WIP selection includes Jobs with transactions where WIP as at the Period is Nil, does not include Jobs with no transactions.
Work In Progress Detail	Report on transactions contributing to WIP as at the end of a selected period, the layout includes, Job Band - contains all the fields from the Job record. Description band - iterates over the description for each job. Transaction - contains fields from the transaction lines for jobs. Figures for WIP Sell and WIP Cost are available, you must customise the Transaction table to reflect the WIP basis in JC Settings, WIP Cost is the default selection. Display Nil WIP selection includes Jobs with transactions where WIP as at the Period is Nil, does not include Jobs with no transactions.
