IC Generate Counts

Generate counts for products. This can be used to generate counts for all uncounted products as a final step once all other counts are entered, to show if any products expected to be counted were not found.

Product - From / To

Select a product or range to generate Counts for. Only products included in the Stocktake are added to the counts.

Generate For

Select to generate counts for:

  • Uncounted Products - products in the Stocktake that are not currently on any Count sheets will be added. This is the default option.
  • All Products - all products in the Stocktake will be added, regardless of whether they are currently included in existing Counts.
  • Variance Products - products that have a variance will be added to the count. This is available for Additive stocktakes only.

Counts Per

For Single and Additive stocktakes, you can select one or more fields IC Product fields to group products by in a count. For example, you can group by Creditor Code, Stock Group, Categories or Bin Code.

Number of Counts

Enter the number of counts to be generated.

For Additive Stocktakes, the number of counts will be created with all products for the stocktake.

For Single Stocktakes, products will be split evenly between the number of counts.

Defaults from IC Settings - Stocktake tab.

Copy Expected to Counted

Available for Single counts.

Selected, the Expected amount will be copied to the Counted amount.

Confirm Generated Counts

Available when generating for Uncounted Products.

Selected, the generated Counts will be Confirmed.

The Details of the Stocktake Count.

Run (F9)

Generate the count, based on the selections.
