Form Designer Component Order

Navigator > Setup > Form Designer > Layout tab > Component Order Window

Select to show or hide the Component Order from the Form Designer > Component > Show / Hide Component Order menu option.

This shows where components are situated in relation to other components. The hierarchical relation between components is shown. This allows you to see where components are positioned on other components.

This is very useful when designing High DPI forms and when using splitters between components. You can drag and drop components in the Component Order window to relocate components.

When you click on a component in the Component Order window, the component will become selected, and its properties will be displayed in the Component Property list.


Toolbar
	Expand all `(Shift+F4)`	Expand all component hierarchies in the Component Order window.
	Collapse all `(Shift+F3)`	Collapse all component hierarchies in the Component Order window.
	Refresh `(F5)`	Reloads changes made on the form to synchronise the order shown.
