Go to Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Receivable > Customer Groups
Click Insert (F4).
Add a Customer Group for each Foreign Currency you have Customers with. You may want to specify a different GL Debtor control account for each Customer Group.
Enter the Currency Code, Bank Account, Price Code and GST Override. This will make it easy to add Foreign Customers with the correct details.
Add Foreign Customers
Go to Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Receivable > Customers
Click Insert (F4).
Select the customer's Country. This will set the corresponding Currency and other defaults. If you have more than one Customer Group for the currency, you can select the Customer Group. Once a Customer has Transactions, you cannot change their Currency.
Enter the other Customer details, and click Save (F9).
Add Foreign Creditor Groups
Go to Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Payable > Creditor Groups
Click Insert (F4).
Add a Creditor Group for each Foreign Currency you have Creditors with. You may want to specify a different GL Debtor control account for each Creditor Group.
Enter the Currency Code, Bank Account, Price Code and GST Override. This will make it easy to add Foreign Creditors with the correct details.
Add Foreign Creditors
Go to Navigator > Maintain > Accounts Payable > Creditors
Click Insert (F4).
Select the creditor's Country. This will set the corresponding Currency and other defaults. If you have more than one Creditor Group for the currency, you can select the Creditor Group. Once a Creditor has Transactions, you cannot change their Currency.
Enter the other Creditor details, and click Save (F9).
Note: Each Customer / Creditor can have only one Currency. If you need to issue or receive invoices from a Customer / Creditor in more than one currency, you will need to set a Customer / Creditor record in each currency.
