Extend Accredo Tables

You can extend Accredo tables by adding custom fields, indexes and tabs, using Table Designer. Lookup and Description fields can be defined for custom tables, for example, additional categories can be created and added to customers, or extra fields added to invoice and order lines.

Fields added can be customised into grids and report layouts. They will appear on a Custom tab on Maintenance forms, documents and transactions. Right-click on a Custom tab to Customise the tab layout. You can also right-click to Import or Export the tab layout.

Custom fields can be saved in template files (.xml), and imported into another table using the Table Designer Upgrade (Alt+U) button. We recommend designing table extensions in a test System. See Upgrade Tables Using Templates for more information. Tables that can be extended are shown in the list of Table Objects, see Automated Table Objects.

Constraints on extending Accredo tables:

Custom fields cannot be set to Required.
Custom fields cannot be AutoInc.
Custom Indexes cannot be Unique.

To allow users to open custom tables, create a shortcut in the navigator. Go to Navigator > Setup > Table Designer > Table Register > Add Form To Navigator button. Once a navigator shortcut is saved, you can open the custom table from Lookup controls relating to the table.
