You can create any number of Companies within Accredo. System Users can be set up with access to only selected companies.
After logging onto the system, if the System User does not have a Default Company set, the Company Modules will appear. If Company Modules does not open, close the open Company and go to Accredo > File > Open Company List. Click Edit then click Create New Company.
Enter the Company Code in the Code field. The code will be used for consolidations in the General Ledger and to select from the Company Menu, so choose a meaningful code.
Enter the Company name in the Name field. This will appear in the Company menu.
In the Path field, enter the path where the files for the Company will be created and stored. The default path is the company name with any spaces removed.
The Country, Currency and Tax Regime will default from the regional settings for the workstation. Check that they are correct.
Accredo will install all licensed modules. To exclude a module, clear the checkbox beside it. Some modules are interdependent, if these are clear, other modules may be affected.
Click Save (F9).
To open the company, close the Company Maintenance window. The Company List is shown. Select the company then click OK(F9) or double-click the Company.
The Licensee Details window will open. Complete the Accredo Security Application or click Cancel(Esc) to add new data.
Note: If you add data first, make sure to complete the Security Application before performing an End of Period.
