Navigator > Tasks > Goods and Services Tax > BAS Return Form
For companies with an Australia Base Tax Regime, you can use the Accredo BAS Return Form to complete the Australian BAS (Business Activity Statement) and transmit data to the Australian Tax Organisation (ATO) electronically or manually.
GST figures for the following Modules transfer to the BAS Return Form Assistant when a taxable transaction is entered:
AR - GST on sales and income (Outputs)
AP - GST on purchases and expenses (Inputs)
CB - Outputs and Inputs.
To complete a BAS Return for an Australian Company:
View the figures on the Calculation Sheet on the Return tab to ensure they are correct.
If you do not have AR, AP or CB installed, some or all fields can be blank. If this happens, you must enter the appropriate figures and submit the BAS Form manually.
Select the relevant module on the Source tab to check the source of the figures. If those shown on the Calculation Sheet are incorrect or incomplete, once you have identified the source module at fault, refer to the GST Audit Report for that module.
When you are satisfied with the information on the Return tab, click Adjust (Alt+A)to make adjustments.
Click Print (Ctrl+P) to print a copy of the Form (including the Calculation Sheet and Source Data).
Click Complete (Alt+C). The status of the accepted return will change to Posted, and data in AR, AP and CB will be locked.
