AP Shipment Designer

Use the Shipment Designer to design your own Shipment document or modify an existing shipment design. To design a shipment document quickly, start with an existing layout, save it with a different name, then modify it. Sample reports are installed with the Accredo server install, and are also available on the Accredo website.

Note: If you modify reports that are provided with Accredo it is important to save them with different names, as when Accredo updates are installed, the reports can be overwritten.

The AP Shipment Designer is based on the Report Designer and has similar functionality. Full report design facilities including MaxBasic are available.

Usually a shipment document consists of:

Header band showing details of the creditor.
Repeating Detail band for shipment lines.
Footer band for totals.

Iterators are available to create sub-sets of records. Iterators can be applied to Bands to filter records shown in a band. Iterator objects allow setting of the SortBy property in the BeforeReport code.

Name	Iterators filter records shown in the report. Available Iterators are: Lines - Lines on the shipment. AdditionalCosts - Additional Costs for the shipment. Tracking - iterates through the tracking detail for the shipment line.
Bands	The Bands in the report to apply the iterator to.
Sort Order	Optionally select fields to sort records in the iterator.
Filter	Optionally select fields to further filter the iterator.

Objects available from Shipment Designer in addition to the standard objects are:

Creditor	Fields from the Creditor record.
itLines	Properties from the Lines iterator.
Job	Fields from the Job transaction record.
Product	Fields from the product (for the Product on the line).
Purchase Order	Fields from the PO header for the purchase order referenced on a line.
ShipHead	Fields from the Shipment header record.
ShipLine	Fields from the Shipment line record.

Sample AP Shipments are provided with the Accredo Server Install, and are also available on the Accredo website. Sample AP Shipments include:

APShipment.pfd - standard AP Shipment.
APShipment_BuyerCreatedInvoice.pfd - AP Shipment shown as an invoice from the Creditor.
