Based in Invercargill, Online Computer Consultants is a ‘one-stop’ shop for a wide range of IT needs – from networking to accounting software, databases and development. It offers full backup and support services and manages around 25 Accredo customers located throughout Southland.
Online Computers managing director, Dean Kelsall, says the business became an Accredo QSP when his customers needed a new system to move to following the demise of the Aurora solution.
“We hooked up with Accredo in 2006 and haven’t looked back. We have transitioned all our Aurora users to Accredo and we have found it to be one of the best financial management systems available for New Zealand businesses.”
Kelsall says the flexibility of the product means business owners can do things the way they want to, and are not dictated to by the way the software works.
“I have sold MYOB in the past and the customer has to adapt its processes to align itself with the way that software operates. Accredo does the exact opposite. It does what you want it to do.”
Kelsall says the wide variety of customers using the software is testament to both its robustness and its versatility.
“We have all sorts of customers using it, including contractors, distributors and a variety of retailers. It copes remarkably well with the unique demands each customer places on it.”
